Welcome to the Accountability section of the HRSRH website. As part of our commitment to being open and transparent to the communities we serve, this section provides you with key information regarding our infection rates, surgical wait times, financial accountabilities and more. Please visit this section often as statistical information is updated regularly.

Patient Safety Indicators
The HRSRH has a strong commitment to patient safety and quality improvement. The hospital supports the provincial government’s public reporting requirements that will help enhance patient safety, improve performance and strengthen the public’s confidence in Ontario’s hospitals. Below you will find a listing of patient safety indicators for the HRSRH.

Patient Quality
The HRSRH has a strong commitment to patient safety and quality improvement. Furthering our efforts to provide the best patient care, we post our surgical wait times and results from the Picker Patient Satisfaction Survey used by most hospitals in Canada. 

Financial Accountabilities
In addition to making the hospital’s financial statements publicly available, the HRSRH is also required to post its Hospital Services Accountability Agreement (H-SAA). Hospitals are required to sign an H-SAA with their respective Local Health Integration Network (LHIN). This H-SAA requires that the hospital achieve a balanced budget position, as well as outlines other financial and performance obligations that the hospital has pledged to meet.
